A cancer we know how to prevent

Cervical cancer is one of the few cancers that regular screening can catch before it ever becomes cancer. A Pap test finds changes in the cells of the cervix early enough to treat them, and the HPV vaccine prevents most of the infections that cause those changes in the first place.

This program covers the whole path: the class that explains what the test is and why it is worth the discomfort, the referral for the pelvic exam, the appointment for the Pap test, the vaccination referral, and the diagnostic testing if a result is not normal.
