What Octavia Health does, and what it does not do
Octavia Health Inc provides health education, screenings, prevention and navigation. We help you understand your condition, connect you with providers, schedule appointments, and go with you when you need someone beside you.
We are not a medical practice. We do not diagnose, we do not treat, we do not prescribe, and we do not provide medical care. Nobody on our staff becomes your doctor by talking to you, and using this website or our services does not create a doctor-patient relationship.
This website is not medical advice
Everything on this site — the program pages, the classes, the events, the materials we hand out — is general health information. It is not advice about your particular case, because we do not know your particular case.
Health information that is correct in general can be wrong for you. Your age, your history, your medications and your other conditions all change what applies to you. Only a licensed professional who has examined you can tell you what to do about your health.

Screenings and referrals
When we arrange a screening, the test is performed and interpreted by the clinic or provider who does it, not by us. When we refer you to a provider, we are telling you where care exists — we are not vouching for the outcome of that care, and the provider is responsible for their own work.
